BMAX B12 Power Mini-PC | <tc>Intel Core</tc> <tc>Ultra</tc> 9 185H

Idles around 10-15W doing basic desktop chores, which is crazy efficient for a 22-thread monster. The smart fan curve is actually well-tuned—doesn't constantly pulse up and down every time you open a browser tab like other cheap boxes.

Showed up at my door in just 2 days. Plugged it straight into the 4K living room TV via HDMI 2.1, hooked up two wireless controllers, and played couch co-op games all night without a single framedrop.

That starry sky blue acrylic top looks way cleaner in person than in the renders. It takes up practically zero desk space—tucked it right next to my studio monitor and you barely even notice it's there.

bought it as a small homelab box and it's been flawless for two months. the dual 2.5g ports sold me, it sits behind my switch running docker and plex and pulls maybe 20w at idle. 1tb nvme is plenty for the boot drive and there's a 2.5" bay if i want bulk storage later. quieter than the nas it replaced, zero crashes, exactly what i wanted.

ngl i was skeptical about integrated graphics at this price but this thing rips. cs2 on 1080p holds 90+ fps, valorant is well over 140, and it barely gets warm. 24gb of ram means i can game with discord and a browser open and nothing stutters. came from a laptop that sounded like a hairdryer and i'm not going back, my old setup cost more and did less.

Props for the fast delivery, box arrived in under 72 hours. Triple monitor setup (DP, HDMI, Type-C) worked straight out of the box with no drama. Loving the 2.5G port for moving huge files to my NAS.

I was a little hesitant to order directly from BMAX, but the experience was better than expected. The package had a small dent when it arrived, but the PC inside was well protected and everything worked perfectly. Support was helpful and replied quickly.

Picked this up for running Docker containers and testing some projects at home. The CPU has plenty of headroom and the compact size makes it easy to place anywhere.

My old desktop was taking up half my desk, so I decided to try a mini PC. Was a little worried about performance, but this thing is actually fast. I use it for VS Code, Chrome with way too many tabs, and some light photo editing. No issues so far.

I didn’t expect this much power from such a small machine. Perfect for my home office setup. Fast startup, smooth performance, and very clean on the desk.
